Why this role exists

As Operations Manager, you’ll be the central hub connecting internal execution with external delivery. You’ll set up and optimize the operational processes that help us move quickly, while also being a first point of contact for early customers—helping us turn happy users into long-term partners.

This role is hands-on, cross-functional, and proactive. You won’t just follow instructions—you’ll spot what’s missing and fix it. From coordinating pilots to improving workflows and supporting sales follow-up, you're the one who ensures we operate effectively while keeping the customer experience strong.

What you’ll do

⚙️ Operational ownership

  • Build and streamline internal processes (onboarding, documentation, tooling, reporting).

  • Coordinate daily business operations: task management, follow-ups, light admin, and vendor communications.

  • Help prepare and manage materials for pitches, pilots, and client onboarding—always with an eye for clarity and polish.

  • Track and optimize the little things (office setup, systems, productivity tools) to free up the CEO and CTO’s time for strategic work.

🤝 Customer coordination

  • Serve as a primary contact for early customers—ensuring a responsive, high-quality experience.

  • Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks that impact client delivery or satisfaction.

  • Flag commercial opportunities, upsell signals, or improvement areas based on customer interactions.

  • Align internal actions with external expectations—making sure what’s promised gets delivered.

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Have 5+ years experience in operations, project management, or client-facing delivery roles.

  • A natural problem-solver: structured, practical, and eager to take ownership.

  • Commercially aware—you understand the link between operations, customer success, and growth.

  • A confident communicator (English is a must; Dutch is a bonus) who builds trust quickly with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Self-directed, detail-focused, and comfortable in a zero-to-one environment where not everything is defined (yet).

💡 Bonus if you bring:

  • Experience with SaaS, B2B, or AI-related companies.

  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Pipedrive, or project tracking platforms.

  • Ability to support light marketing and/or sales enablement work when needed.

  • The rare and valuable talent of drinking tequila better than we do.
