We're seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is more than just a recruiter; you're a matchmaker for innovation. Focussed on recruiting and matching CTOs with entrepreneurs in residence and connecting them with startups and scaleups in the studio's network. 🚀

Your pioneering role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist and matchmaker, your role is pivotal in growing our studio and new ventures. You’ll recruit future founders, venture builders, and tech talents, balancing traditional recruitment with the unique challenge of matching CTOs with entrepreneurial and commercial opportunities. Working alongside our Managing Directors and venture founders, you will align talent strategies with the studios’ goals.

Talent acquisition

  • Source and recruit top-tier candidates for various roles within Builders and our ventures.
  • Champion a seamless and engaging candidate experience, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Promote Builders' values and opportunities through strategic communication on social media, events, and other channels.

CTO matchmaking

  • Dedicate half of your role to identifying and pairing CTOs-in-residence with opportunities within Builders' network.
  • Connect CTOs with Builders' network, ensuring optimal matches for both sides.
  • Maintain active engagement with tech and startup communities to find the best talent and opportunities.

Strategic planning

  • Collaborate with Builders' management to organise and execute events aligning with our organizational goals.
  • Play a key role in forming the dedicated teams for our ventures, setting them up for success from the start.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in recruitment, preferably in tech/startup environments.
  • Proven ability to source and identify niche tech talents.
  • Expertise in full-cycle recruitment with a proactive approach.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Innovative mindset in recruitment practices.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in startup, agency, or venture-building environments is desirable.
  • Able to work in our Rotterdam office (valid work permit in the Netherlands required).
