Our Growth Lead is a key figure of the studio's well-oiled machine. It is an exceptional data-driven individual who is an excellent creative thinker, storyteller, and innovator. The one who sees things differently and brings up new ideas to challenge the status quo. Where others see obstacles, the Growth Lead sees an opportunity. It is both strategist and executioner that can lead by example as well as execute on his own. At Builders, a Growth Lead wears many hats to drive the growth of both our studio and ventures inside our portfolio.

Our Growth Lead supports our team in reaching these objectives by designing and executing growth marketing strategies. To put it simply, you experiment and reiterate upon results to develop the most fitting approach on how we can reach and inspire the right people.


The innovator who brings more champagne moments

At the onset of each new venture is a spark. And at its peak of success, spark turns into champagne. From a bold business idea to a thriving technology company, many steps lay between these two stages. At Builders, our main focus is to make the journey from spark to champagne as smooth as possible by providing our co-founders with both operational and capital support. As a key element of our venture creation process comes growth; to foster the growth of our ventures, we primarily engage in three sets of activities:

  • Designing and executing growth frameworks to scale our SaaS ventures;
  • Supporting our co-founders in building high-performance growth teams;
  • Continuously experimenting and validating to optimise existing growth processes.

Our Growth Lead takes end-to-end ownership of these activities. It is your responsibility to validate assumptions and gain actionable insights by designing and conducting data-driven experiments. From A/B testing to customer interviews, you know what tools to use and how to use them. To spread the best practices throughout ventures in our portfolio, you take full responsibility over the design of our growth frameworks and guidance of growth-related positions inside ventures.

Requirements

For this position, we seek someone special. You are an individual who drives change and who generates outstanding results. In addition:

  • You have at least seven years of work experience in growth marketing;
  • You have at least five years of experience in managing marketing/growth teams;
  • You have strong Dutch and English communication skills;
  • You have demonstrable experience with B2B online marketing, SaaS experience is an advantage;
  • You have proven success in transforming vision and strategy into plans and activities which lead to increased brand awareness and growth;
  • You have experience with the implementation and use of different categories of growth tools;
  • You have full-time availability.
